Saboti MP Caleb Amisi has called for the dismissal of Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Musalia Mudavadi.

According to Amisi, Kenya should get rid of the current office bearers holding the office of both Speakers of the National Assembly and the Senate.

He also says all State House advisors, President William Ruto’s personal assistant Farouk Kibet and parastatal heads should be dismissed.

“All advisors, statehouse honchos like Farouk Kibet, Musalia Mudavadi, Speakers of both houses, PSs, and heads of all parastatals must be dismissed immediately. Let’s restructure our government,” he said.

Amisi has advised against removing the President from power unconstitutionally, which he says will bring the country down.

“Getting Ruto out unconstitutionally will bring Kenya down. Let’s start all over with clean, tribeless, competent people. Ruto can only be removed constitutionally to maintain the image of Kenya. Starting from zero is expensive. Kenya needs a renaissance,” he added.

This comes moments after Kileleshwa Member of County Assembly (MCA) Robert Alai urged President William Ruto not to dismiss his Principal Secretaries (PSs).

The blogger-cum politician on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, told President Ruto to consider merging state departments and have them reduced.

According to Alai, the Head of State should not accept conceding further to the demands of what he termed as anarchists.

“Ruto shouldn’t dismiss PSs. He should merge the departments and reduce them but shouldn’t concede further to the anarchists,” Alai stated.
