Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha has confirmed that seven pupils died after a Precious Talent School classroom at Dagoretti collapsed Monday morning.

The CS said 64 others are in hospital and he has been assured that they are in stable condition.

Magoha noted that the school has a pupil population of 800 and 600 of them have so far undergone safety check.

“We have asked the pupils to stay at home for four days as we put everything in check to ensure they are safe here,” he said.
