List of 48 senators who support Kindiki removal as Senate Deputy Speaker

On Tuesday afternoon, the Senate Majority Whip Irungu Kang’ata moved a notice of motion for the removal of Senate Deputy Speaker Kithure Kindiki.

Senator Kang’ata said he initiated the process for the removal of Prof Kinduki after the Tharaka Nithi senator failed to attend a Jubilee Parliamentary Group meeting where allies of Deputy President William Ruto were shown the door last week.

So far, 48 senators — 26 from Jubilee and 22 from National Super Alliance — support the motion for the removal of Prof Kindiki.

Here is the list of senators who have signed the motion to kick out Kindiki from his seat:
