Colnet has denied having ever employed Paul Manyasi, the stowaway who fell from a Kenya Airways plane in London, UK.
An investigative report detailing Manyasi’s incident was done by Sky News revealing that Manyasi, 29, was an airport cleaner at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) employed through Colnet.
In a statement, Colnet denied having employed a person whose description fits those of Manyasi, the stowaway.
“There are records of the passes issued and all Colnet employees are accounted for without failure at the end of every shift and we can confirm without doubt (sic) that we don’t have, and have never had Paul Manyasi as an employee” read part of the statement authored by one of the company’s managers, Chege Kariuki.
Kenya Airports Authority, the government agency that manages JKIA also denied report by Sky News but admitted the death of the stowaway who fell from flight KQ100 destined for London.
