Deputy President William Ruto says he is not scared of any political alliance ahead of the 2022 General Elections.

The DP, who has already declared that he will be on the ballot as a presidential candidate, says they are well prepared to face any opponent be it a revived NASA or the One Kenya Alliance (OKA).

OKA is made up of Kalonzo Musyoka’s Wiper, Gideon Moi’s KANU, Moses Wetangula’s Ford Kenya and Musalia Mudavadi’s ANC.

Speaking in Machakos, while in a meeting with a group of businesspersons from the area, DP Ruto stated that the Hustler Nation camp is well prepared to take over government after the 2022 polls.

“Instead of those people apologizing to Kenyans for messing our economy, they are now telling us about uniting themselves. Let them unite but we are prepared together with hustlers to face you,” he said.

According to the DP, talks of the opposition uniting ahead of 2022 is not a threat to his camp.

In a message that was seemingly directed at the ODM leader Raila Odinga, the DP accused the former prime minister of messing the Jubilee government plan,

He accused the opposition of running their selfish agenda at the expense of the development plans that were to be rolled out across the country by the Jubilee government.

According to the DP, the opposition should apologise to Kenyans before selling their presidential agenda to Kenyans.

“I want to tell those people who invaded our Jubilee government, and instead of allowing our development projects to roll out, they began telling us about a referendum, to apologise to Kenyans,” he said.

“They stopped the rollout of the housing project, they stopped the universal health coverage, they stopped agricultural programs and instead told us to prioritize constitutional amendments,” DP Ruto added.

He further stated that it is because of the opposition’s selfish agenda that the country has found itself in a difficult economic situation such that it is unable to service its debts.
