Uhuru reads riot act to Mt Kenya leaders

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday told off some Central Kenya politicians for being obsessed with the 2022 election debates.
Uhuru was speaking to Mang’u residents near his Gatundu home where he led in opening a dispensary constructed by the Catholic church and the Government of Japan.
“They think I am stupid because I am silent,” he said.
Clearly agitated President blamed his Mt. Kenya Members of Parliament (MPs) for slow developments in their jurisdictions.
“Before the BBI report was out, they were just going around talking about it. Now that it is out, they want to engage in another journey (sic),” said Uhuru.
The Head of State also persuaded the residents to read the full BBI report instead of relying on their elected leaders to do so for them.
“Let’s read it ourselves. There are things touching us at personal levels,” said Uhuru.
The President further insisted that it is only God who knows will lead Kenya in 2022 and that the electorate should be wise enough.
