UDA schedules sensitization program ahead of phase II grassroots elections

The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has announced that it will be conducting a sensitization program for phase II grassroots elections across various counties.

A statement made on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, by the UDA National Election Board, indicated that the sensitization program will be held in preparation for phase II grassroots elections scheduled for June 28 and 29, 2024, in various counties.

“In preparation for the Phase II Grassroot elections scheduled for June 28th and 29th, 2024, the National Elections Board issues a notice of Phase II sensitization program for various counties as tabled below,” the statement by the UDA National Election Board reads.

While urging its members to participate in the exercise, the UDA’s National Election Board further indicated the schedule of the three-day sensitization program in various counties starting on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, to Friday, June 13, 2024.

Sensitization schedule

According to the notice, on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, which will be the first day of the grassroots sensitization program, the National Election Board will conduct the program in Nyandarua, Garissa, Tharaka Nithi, and Wajir counties.

On Thursday, June 13, 2024, the second day of the Phase II grassroots sensitization program will be held in six counties; Kwale, Mombasa, Taita Taveta, Machakos, Kitui and Bungoma.

“Kwale June 13, 2024, 10:00 AM-12:00 noon Kwale Cultural Center, Mombasa, June 13, 2024, 10:00 AM-noon Agricultural Society of Kenya, Taita Taveta, June 13, 2024, 10:00 AM-12:00 noon, Voi county headquarters social hall, Machakos, June 13, 2024 10:00 AM -12:00 noon Machakos stadium Kitui, June 13, 2024 10:00 AM-12:00 noon Kitui town Kefri hall and  Bungoma, June 13, 2024, 10:00 AM-12:00 noon.

On the last day of the grassroots sensitization program, the sensitization program will be held in three counties.
