Machakos Senator Agenes Kavindu has exuded optimism about Kalonzo Musyoka’s presidency, emphasising that the Wiper leader enjoys the support of the United Opposition leaders.

Speaking in Kilome Constituency, Makueni County, on Saturday, October 4, 2025, Kavindu urged the nation to unite behind the former Vice President.

She asserted that the opposition had its weight behind the leader as the best choice to beat Ruto.

“As the Kamba nation, we are ready to vote in the sixth president, who is Kalonzo Musyoka. And I know the other principals are firmly behind him,” she said.
“We therefore ask our brothers to take up votes and wait for the time. Wantam will be done if you register for IDs and wake up to vote on the voting day.

‘I am a prophet and a preacher, but the challenges we have undergone in this regime, I dare say we cannot continue with it,” he stated.

She also dismissed assertions from the government allied politicians that the opposition lacked a clear agenda for Kenyans.

“They claim we are only interested and singing one term, arguing that we have no other agenda. I want to tell them we will not show them our cards,” she added.
Kavindu’s sentiments were also reinforced by Makueni Deputy Governor Mulili, who termed the Wiper Leader as a visionary and unifying leader.

Vouching for Kalonzo

“Kenya has experienced the bad governance that has been evident in this administration. It is time we elect a proper leader. A leader who can put the interests of Kenyans first,” she added.

We can complain sitting on the fence. We have to register and be able to elct our sixth president. it is only one and a half year from now,”she emphasised.

Kalonzo was leading the delegation of Wiper Patriotic Front leaders in the burial of the late Mzee Philip Muteti Ndolo at Ulu Primary School.

He was accompanied by Makueni Deputy Governor Lucy Mulili, Makueni County Senator Dan Maanzo, Kilome MP Nzambia, Joshua Kimilu MP for Kaiti, Senator Peris Tobiko, Senator Agnes Kavindu of Machakos County, Douglas Mbilu Speaker of the Makueni County Assembly, Katete Kisungi the Majority Leader, and a host of other MCAs.
