Two Members of Parliament allied to Kenya Kwanza government have lashed out at conveners of Limuru III conference for attacking President William Ruto, terming them selfish.

Silvanus Osoro (South Mugirango) and Japhate Nyakundi (Kitutu Chache North) said it was wrong for the leaders from Mount Kenya region to fight for one man one shilling one vote, saying it will disadvantage other communities.

Right channels

Osoro (pictured), who is the Majority Chief Whip said all Kenyan communities deserve a share of the national cake in terms of development, saying the leaders can address their plight through right channels.

The meeting dubbed the Limuru 111 was convened by Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua, Jubilee party Secretary General, Jeremiah Kioni on Friday and attended by Mps; Gathoni Wamuchomba (Githunguri) Amos Mwago (Starehe) Mark Mwenje ( Embakas West) and Kikuyu elders Among others.

He said top leaders and government appointees hail from Mount Kenya and challenged the leaders to convene a meeting with them to address the problems facing the region.

“Do not meet to blackmail the President. You control half of the government and have no reason to blame the president” Osoro said during a funds drive for Kegati Catholic Parish, Kisii Diocese yesterday.
