My life is in danger – Isaac Mwaura cries out
Ex-nominated senator Isaac Mwaura now claims that his life is in danger. This comes just a day after he raised an alarm after a drone was allegedly flown around his compound for a couple of minutes.
Mwaura who is an ardent supporter of Deputy president William Ruto, said that he stands apprehensive of his own security and that of his neighbours.
Mwaura has since stated that he his not planning to lodge a complaint with detectives concerning the drone that hovered around his home. The ex-lawmaker alleged that he has established that the drone was being operated by police officers stationed at the Membley police station.
Speaking to journalists at his Ruiru home, Mwaura attributed the unclear surveillance of his home to his political nemesis, insisting that he will remain firm and will not succumb to any form of intimidation.
The vocal politician further alleged that he is being sought by sleuths from the DCI for mobilizing the huge crowd that received DP Ruto in Githurai on Sunday September 5.
“Kenyans have political rights to self-determination and it’s extremely retrogressive for anyone to imagine they can use any means to change someone’s political inclination,” the Tangatanga politician said.
The former senator becomes the third politician to have raised an alarm after strange drones were allegedly flown over their homesteads.
Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana and the Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen made parallel claims in 2020 of drones flying over their homes, complaints that they claim were not acted upon by authorities.
