Moses Kuria opens door for running mate position applications

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria who recently announced his intentions to run for the Kiambu governor position is calling on members of the public interested to be his running mate to start making applications for the position.

In an advert on a local daily, Kuria outlined some of the qualifications an eligible candidate must have to qualify to be his deputy. In the qualifications, the lawmaker was very categorical that he was looking for a lady to be his deputy.

The lawmaker said that he was looking for an aggressive lady from Kiambu County who help him deliver his key manifesto to the people for the Kiambu should he clinch the governor seat in the coming election.

“To deliver his programme, Hon. Moses Kuria is looking for an aggressive, self-motivated, self-driven lady professional to take up the role of the Deputy Governor,” he said in the advert.

He further noted that his deputy must have a master’s degree and a 10-year working experience in a complex organization.

The controversial MP said that eligible candidates have until next week Friday to submit their applications.

“The successful candidate must possess a Master’s Degree and a proven track record leading in a complex organization with at least 10 years experience, five of which must be a senior executive level. They must be citizens of Kiambu County,” Kuria said.

“Interested lady candidates are invited to send their written expression of interest accompanied by a comprehensible resume which will be received no later than 18th March 2022.”
