Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi claims that he talks to and provides counsel to ODM leader Raila Odinga.

The lawmaker, who was irked by the criticism of blogger Robert Alai, revealed that he speaks to the former prime minister directly and advises him on some issues.

Sudi also vaunted that he mobilized crowds for the presidential hopeful when he toured Eldoret town in Uasin Gishu county.

"I wish to inform Robert Alai that am not his caliber. I personally talk to Raila directly, I even advise him on some of the issues and he listens to me. Am not stupid," he posted.

Sudi was on Saturday October 23, 2021 put on the spot by Robert Alai after he derided ex-assistant minister Stephen Tarus at the funeral service of slain Olympian Agnes Tirop.

The legislator scorned Tarus for reading Raila's condolence message and not offering a contribution to the bereaved family. He also chided at the ex-assistant minister for disrespecting their kingpin, Deputy President William Ruto.

Sudi's sentiments did not augur well with Alai, who claimed that it was unfair for the lawmaker to scold Tarus for just reading Raila's condolence message. Alai also criticized the lawmaker for intimidating politicians who do not subscribe to their hustler nation politics in the Rift Valley region.

"See the rage, anger and almost lynching of a simple politician Tarus in Iten when he simply read Raila’s speech and promised an alternative voice," Alai posted.
