Details of Gachagua’s meeting with an influential Kajiado North leader

In a statement shared on Facebook on Friday, December 19, 2025, Gachagua said they held a meeting to deliberate on political and development matters affecting Laikipia County and the broader Laikipia North constituency.
“Today at Wamunyoro Residence, I held a consultative engagement with Saaya Tema Karmushu from Laikipia North Constituency,” Gachagua said.
The meeting focused on identifying key challenges in the constituency and exploring strategies to address them. Both leaders shared insights on ongoing projects and considered ways to coordinate efforts for more effective delivery of services to residents.
The engagement also provided an opportunity for reflection on political dynamics and community expectations in the lead-up to upcoming national and local initiatives.
“Our discussions focused on a range of development and political issues pertinent to the Constituency and Laikipia County as a whole,” he stated.

Gachagua emphasised the importance of collaboration between elected leaders to drive meaningful change. He noted that aligning strategies and pooling resources is critical to transforming constituencies into more resilient and prosperous regions.
The meeting, according to Gachagua, shows the value of consultative leadership, where community concerns are addressed collectively, and solutions are planned in partnership.
