Shabana FC will host AFC Leopards in a midweek Football Kenya Federation Premier League to be staged at Gusii Stadium on Wednesday, November 28, 2024.

Both teams will be hunting for the three points, with Ingwe looking for their fourth win, whereas Tore Bobe will be hunting for their third.

AFC Leopards will be keen to return to winning ways after previously drawing 1-1 with league debutants Mara Sugar. Shabana will be facing the former Premier League champions after morale-boosting victories against Kenya Police and Murang’a Seal.

At Kenyatta Stadium, Gor Mahia will hope to beat Kakamega Homeboyz and return to winning ways. The league’s defending champions have been winless in their last four games, and the Homeboyz’s encounter gives them a chance to right the wrong things.

This is a game that will be overseen by interim head coach Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Oteino, who was given the reigns after the departure of Leonardo Neiva.

FC Talanta will host Ulinzi Stars in an early kick-off at Kenyatta Stadium, whereas Mathare United and Nairobi City Stars will clash at Dandora Stadium.

Bidco United will host Posta Rangers in Murang’a as Bandari are set to welcome Kariobangi Sharks at Ukunda.

Confident Tusker

In a late kick-off at Dandora Stadium, Tusker will host Mara Sugar. The Brewers’ assistant coach George Maina is confident that his team has prepared well for the match against the league debutants.

“We have prepared well for this game, and based on the good results we had against City Stars, the boys are really motivated and in good spirits for the game. We had really worked hard over the international break to address a few weak areas, and most of all, it gave the injured players good time to return fully fit. I believe we are now at a better place,” Maina said, as quoted by a local publication.
