Four people on Thursday escaped death narrowly after their light aircraft was involved in an accident at Emarti area of Mashuuru, Kajiado County.

The 7:30 am incident occurred after the aircraft No 5Y-CHR lost control before crashing but occupants were safely evacuated.

The occupants were heading to Amboseli National Park from Nairobi Wilson Airport.

According to the area county Commissioner Stephen Nyakundi, the crash might have resulted from a technical issue as the weather was clear.

The four, two men and two women tourists were airlifted for medical checkup.

Peter Almendiger, the pilot, sustained head injury while others sustained minor bruises.
