Gor Mahia are set to face FC Talanta in a rescheduled Football Kenya Federation Premier League match at Dandora Stadium on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

The league defending champions will be looking for another victory, a third one, after two straight wins over Kakamega Homeboyz and Mara Sugar. The two wins have been achieved under interim head coach Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno, who was elevated after the sacking of Leonardo Neiva.

Talanta, eager to get points and rise far above the relegation zone, will be up against a rather daunting task given that K’Ogalo, sixth on the table, have registered four wins, two draws, and two defeats.

Talanta are 16th with only one win in their five games, and a match against the heavyweights presents a tough challenge for them.

Shabana host Rangers

After losing to Kakamega Homeboyz, Shabana will be at home to face Posta Rangers. The Mailmen are struggling and were held to a goalless draw by Talanta in their last encounter.

A win at Gusii Stadium will be a boost for their efforts to get out of the danger zone.

Police face City Stars

As they get used to new life under their new coach, Etienne Ndayiragije, Police FC will be up against Nairobi City Stars in an attempt to get the first win with the Rwandan tactician in charge.

Police have not won a single match out of the last five. They lost to AFC Leopards in Ndayiragije’s debut game.

City Stars may not give them the toughest of tests, given that they too have been inconsistent. They are 15th with 11 points earned from three wins and two draws. They have been defeated five times.
