The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has announced the dates for the fourth and fifth FIFA agent exams.

The 2024 exam will be held on November 20, 2024, while the 2025 exam is scheduled for May 21, 2025. Applicants for the November 2024 exam can submit their applications from August 19, 2024, to October 4, 2024.

Agents exams

For the May 2025 exam, the application window is from January 13, 2025, to February 28, 2025. Interested individuals must submit their applications via the FIFA Agent Platform, where Member Associations will review submissions to determine eligibility.

Successful applicants will be invited to sit the FIFA Football Agent Exam, with the option to choose which Member Association will administer their exam. The exam, lasting 60 minutes, consists of twenty questions designed to test the applicant’s knowledge of FIFA regulations and the football transfer system. A pass mark is set at 75%.

The exam is conducted strictly online through the FIFA Agents Platform. Following the examination, candidates will wait one month to receive their results. Those who pass will be licensed by FIFA, enabling them to provide football agency services globally.

The applicable exam rules and study materials will be published on the FIFA Agent Platform and the FIFA website in August 2024 and January 2025, respectively, for each exam sitting. An examination fee of 50,000 Kenya Shillings will be charged to cover the costs of organizing and holding the exam.

Upon obtaining their Football Agent licence for the first time, individuals must pay USD 600 for the initial licensing period, followed by subsequent annual payments of USD 300. Continuing professional development (CPD) requirements will apply starting from October 1 after individuals receive their Football Agent licence.

FIFA Council

The FIFA Council has approved the FIFA Football Agent Regulations (FFAR) and a series of actions aimed at establishing a fairer and more transparent football transfer system, including the introduction of a mandatory licensing system. Only individuals granted a Football Agent licence by FIFA can provide Football Agent Services, as defined in the FFAR and the corresponding national football agent regulations.

This initiative is part of FIFA’s broader effort to regulate and professionalize football agents, ensuring a standardized and transparent system for football transfers worldwide.
