Deputy President Kithure Kindiki on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, hosted a section of Members of Parliament (MPs) drawn from various parts of the country at Harambee House Annex in Nairobi.
The focus of the meeting was to discuss matters aimed at forging national consensus on priorities to accelerate the implementation of people-centred development agendas in the country.
“The ongoing consultative engagements with parliamentarians aims at forging national consensus on priorities for accelerating the implementation of people-centred, inclusive development agenda across the Country,” he said.
Members of the National Assembly who attended include Likoni MP Mishi Mboko, Lunga Lunga MP Mangale Chiforomondo his Tharaka counterpart George Murugara, and Mbeere South MP Hebert Muriuki.
Others who attended include; Ruweida Obo (Lamu East), Hussein Weytan (Mandera East), Abdullahi Sheikh (Mandera North), Umulkheir Kassim (Woman Representative, Mandera), Abdul Haro (Wajir South), Yussuf Adan (Wajir West), Joseph Lekuton (Laisamis), Kareke Mbiuki (Maara), Dorothy Muthoni (Nominated).
Also in attendance was, Eric Wamumbi (Mathira), Alfred Mutai (Kuresoi North), Titus Lotee (Kacheliba), Gabriel Tongoyo (Narok West), Protus Akujah(Loima), Kangogo Bowen (Marakwet East), Nabii Nabwera (Lugari), Titus Khamala (Lurambi) and Malulu Injendi (Malava).
