Pioneering gospel singer Esther Wahome is out of self-quarantine.

The Kuna Dawa hitmaker has been on a European music tour in countries such as Germany and Belgium since late February till March 17 when she jetted back to Kenya.

And according to her, she went straight to self-isolation after coming back home as required by the government.

“I want to thank all of you that checked on me on phone, those who prayed and encouraged me while I was on music tour. I want to let you know that I am well and healthy,” she said in a video posted on her social media pages.

She added that her 14-day self-quarantining started from the day she jetted back into the country until April 4.

“My heart really goes to those in quarantine; it is a very difficult place to be in. It’s not an easy time.

“My heart also goes to those who have sick ones in hospital and I am really praying for them. My heart also goes to those who have lost their loved ones; it is a very difficult time and may God console and comfort them,” she said.

Wahome also urged people to keep on praying for one another, families, the country, continent and the world at large during the Covid-19 pandemic.
