African Youth silver medalist Mary Moraa has won a ticket into the Commonwealth games 800M final.

Moraa who wasted no time in the qualification round, led from the start and managed to finish first with a time of 1.59.23.

The 22 year old who won bronze in the Oregon World Athletics Championships qualified together with Uganda’s Halimah Nakaayi. Nakaayi finished second with a time of 1.59.35.
