Uhuru casts his vote in Gatundu

President Uhuru Kenyatta has cast his vote in Mutomo Polling Station in Gatundu, which will mark the end of his tenure in office.

Uhuru, who has fallen out with his Deputy William Ruto has been a strong supporter of Azimio la Umoja-one Kenya Alliance presidential candidate Raila Odinga.

Speaking to journalists after casting his vote, uhuru urged Kenyans to maintain peace during the process, expressing optimism that the process will be free and fair.

“It is every Kenyan’s hope that the process will be free and fair. The process is smooth and we hope it will be so throughout the day. I have no competitors in this election. I urge Kenyans to turn out and vote peacefully,” he said.
