Ruto files response to Raila’s petition at Supreme Court

President-elect William Ruto has filed his response at the Supreme Court to the petitions lodged against his election by Azimio la Umoja – One Kenya leader Raila Odinga and seven others.

The responses to the petitions were submitted to the court by his lawyers led by Kioko Kilukumi, Prof Kithure Kindiki, Gladys Shollei, Adrian Kamotho Njenga and Collins Kiprono.

They submitted the documents at the Supreme Court registry at 2:15 pm.

Unlike Raila, Ruto on Friday did not appear in person to present the court papers but only sent his legal team of ten lawyers.
