Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto is set to unveil his manifesto on June 30, 2022.

In a month-long program seen by People Daily Digital, the manifesto will be launched after the alliance completes its county economic forum discussions in Turkana County on Wednesday, June 15.

When he unveiled his running mate Rigathi Gachagua on May 15, Ruto said they had planned 45-day economic discussions in counties across Kenya.

“We will sign county economic charters that will form part of our manifesto,” Ruto said on May 15.

The Kenya Kwanza team has been divided into three groups led by Ruto, Gachagua, and Musalia Mudavadi (chief minister-designate).

The groups are spearheading parallel economic forums across the country.

For instance, on Thursday, June 2, Ruto will preside over the economic forum in Makueni County before holding several political rallies in Sultan Hamud and Chumvi.

Gachagua and Mudavadi will be in Lamu and Tana River counties.

Ruto will present his papers to Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) on Saturday, June 4 to be cleared to contest in the August 9 polls.

“Migori, Kwale, and West Pokot economic forums need rescheduling as its date coincided with the presentation of nomination papers to IEBC,” Kenya Kwanza said in a statement.
