Naivasha legislator alleges misuse of Karua by Azimio
Azimio-One Kenya Deputy President candidate Martha Karua has been warned to be cautious with some of the people she is working with.
Naivasha MP Jayne Kihara of UDA who once worked closely with Karua in Narc-Kenya says some of the supporters did not have goodwill and were instead using her.
The MP, however, lauded Karua’s nomination, saying she was capable of delivering though she was in the wrong camp.
“We have worked with Karua before but some people in the other team led by Uhuru (Kenyatta) and Raila (Odinga) are trying to use her good name so that they can achieve their ill-intentions,” Kihara said.
Speaking in Naivasha while launching the campaign to defend her seat, Kihara lashed out at Uhuru for the manner in which he kicked out MPs from Jubilee Party.
“The reasons we left Jubilee for UDA is the manner the party leader treated us and even ordered our committee seats be taken over by the opposition,” she said on Sunday.
