Kajiado youths form caucus to push for Raila presidential bid

Kajiado youths have formed a caucus to rally support for presidential hopeful Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua in an effort to strengthen and empower the Azimio-One Kenya Alliance support base.

The youths who were drawn from five sub-counties converged at KCB grounds in Kajiado County for a major political meeting at which they said Raila’s manifesto means well for them and the country.

They said they would use civic education to rally support for Raila and educate members of the public on the Azimio-One Kenya manifesto to enable them to make informed decisions.

“It is no longer the politics of political parties and handouts. As young people we want voters to make informed decisions. We, therefore, commit to educating voters about the Raila manifesto. By educating voters they will vote for leaders who mean well for our country. We also want to educate them to avert leaders who spell out unrealistic manifestos which are not tenable,” said Purity Sein, the youth Coordinator.
