Rapper Khaligraph Jones lost out to UK’s rapper Stormzy in this year’s edition of the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Hip-Hop Awards held virtually on Tuesday night.

The Tuma Kitu hit rapper took to his Instagram to congratulate the winner saying: “Congratulations Stormzy. This year we were satisfied with the recognition and the nomination. Now it’s time to put in work for next time. The OG shall be respected. Trust the process #respecttheogs kwendaaaa (sic).”

He was a nominee in the Best International Flow category alongside South Africa’s Nasty C, Djonga (Brazil), Kaaris (France), Meryl (France) and Ms Banks (UK).
