Raila condoles with the Karanjas after losing their daughter Tecra

Orange Democratic Party (ODM) leader Raila Odinga has condoled with the family of Joseph and Tabitha Karanja who lost their daughter Tecra Muigai on Saturday.

In his message on Sunday morning, Mr. Odinga wished the Karanjas strength and courage to bear the loss.

The Karanjas and the owners of Keroche Breweries announced the death of their daughter Tecra Muigai Karanja on Saturday, May 2.

“The Board of Directors and Management of Keroche Breweries is deeply saddened to inform that Tecra Muigai Karanja passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2020 afternoon following a tragic accident,” read a statement from the family.

Ms. Tecra worked at the family-owned business Keroche Breweries as the Strategy and Innovation Director.

The family praised their deceased daughter as brilliant and passionate who pioneered new products, some awaiting to be launched later in the year.

The family says they have began private preparations for her final sendoff.
