Coronavirus: Health Ministry confirms the highest number in a single day
Kenya has confirmed 24 new cases of coronavirus, Health Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) Mercy Mwangangi announced on Saturday.
This brings the total number of cases in the country to 435.
Of the new cases, 17 are from Nairobi, Mombasa (5) and Siaya (2).
Notably, Nairobi cases are from Kawangware (7) and Eastleigh (10).
Two patients have been discharged, bringing the total recoveries in the country to 152.
“We have, however, lost one more patient. The patient had other underlying health issues,” CAS said.
The total deaths from the disease now stands at 22.
