Homa Bay town Member of Parliament (MP) George Kaluma has advised the new Deputy President Kithure Kindiki to be patriotic and serve all Kenyans without discrimination.

In a statement on X, on Friday, November 1, 2024, Kaluma disclosed that the country is currently enjoying a feeling of peace, love and unity.

“The feeling of peace, love and unity in Kenya this @KindikiKithure Holiday should remain forever! Power is truly transient. Be patriotic and serve all people without any form of discrimination!” he said.

Apart from Kaluma, President William Ruto during Kindiki’s swearing-in as the new deputy president, asked Kindiki to help him with the development of the country adding that he is confident in him as the second in command.

“My dear Professor Kindiki, I need your intellect to help me. I have almost become a lonely voice in the presidency, speaking about our projects and what we are doing. I am confident you will do what I have missed for the last two years,” Ruto said.

“Prof@KindikiKithure is an exemplary example of a qualified, committed and outstanding scholar whose selflessness, competence, experience and focus will mobilise the government towards delivering The Plan.”
