The prime suspect in the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani, Joseph Irungu alias Jowie has been granted Sh2 million cash bail.

High Court judge Justice James Wakiaga, however, restricted the suspect from commenting on social media or anywhere regarding the matter in court.

Wakiaga further ordered Jowie to be reporting to Nakuru chief every end month and the chief must file a report with the court.

He was also ordered not to interfere with witnesses in the case.

Monica, 28, was found dead in a bathtub on September 20 with her neck slit ear to ear at her Lamuria Gardens Apartment in Kilimani, Off Dennis Pritt Road on September 20.
