The President and Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Women in Business Mary Muthoni condoled with the family of the late retired President Daniel arap Moi.

In her visit to Moi’s family at Kabarak Gardens this week, Muthoni remembered with nostalgia how the former president inspired her to take her current career.

“Many of my age mates who were born, schooled and nurtured during Moi era have no regrets but praise for Mzee’s kindness. I am proud to be associated!,” she said

“As young children; we rarely missed church; we emulated the President. His love for his religion, his love for education and the children. The discipline was eminent. We felt covered.

No wonder I became an educationist,” added Muthoni.

Muthoni urged Kenyans and the women who are the fabric for the society to remain peaceful.
