Mudavadi to make party stand on BBI debate ‘soon’
Amani National Congress (ANC) Party Leader, Musalia Mudavadi has reiterated that the party’s position on the ongoing Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) Debate will be made public soon.
He has also poked holes into Wiper Leader, Kalonzo Musyoka’s recent pronouncement aiming at scrapping of term limits for governors.
“I also call upon political leaders to use the BBI initiative to look into the need for undertaking radical reforms in the electoral process in the country especially the reforms in the structure of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC),” Mudavadi said Friday in Trans Nzoia County.
“I also plead to President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader, Raila Odinga to use the BBI initiative to unite the country,” Mudavadi said while speaking at Kaisagat Location in Kitale, Trans Nzoia County during the burial of Mama Felicity Amadiva Chavanga the mother of Patrick Chavanga, his family friend.
Those who attended included former nominated Senator Zipporah Kittony and former Funyula MP Paul Otuoma.
President Kenyatta, in a message of condolence read by Kittony, said the family has lost a mother and protector.
Chavanga is a close friend of the President.
