The pairings for the FKF Cup round of 16 matches have been finalized following the conclusion of the round of 32 matches on Sunday.

Several top sides are set to face off in this stage, with resurgent AFC Leopards scheduled to play against Shabana FC. Tusker FC are set to face Kakamega Homeboyz in a rematch of the 2023 final.

Ulinzi Stars will face off against Kariobangi Sharks, while Bidco United will tackle KCB FC.

Kenya Police are paired against Mombasa Stars FC, and Sofapaka will visit giant killers Bungoma Stars. Denmark, who shocked Gor Mahia, will battle with SS Assad.

Denmark FC secured a spot in the round of 16 after pulling off a surprise victory against FKF Premier League side Gor Mahia FC in a match held on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Ukunda Show Grounds.

The match ended goalless, forcing it into a penalty shootout with Denmark emerging as 5-4 victors.

FKF Cup Sunday matches

In the earlier kick-off at Ukunda Show Grounds, Tusker FC secured a 2-1 victory over Bumbani Stars. The visitors took an early lead as Daniel Sakari found the net in the 24th minute, carrying the advantage into halftime.

In the second half, Eric Zakayo extended Tusker’s lead with a goal in the 65th minute. Despite Saidi Zamani pulling one back for the hosts just four minutes later, the match concluded with a final score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, the early kick-off at Police Sacco Stadium witnessed Zetech Titans and Mara Sugar battling to a goalless draw in regular time. The deadlock persisted, leading to a penalty shootout, where Mara Sugar emerged victorious with a 4-3 scoreline.

In other matches, defending champions Kakamega Homeboyz secured a 2-0 victory against Solian City FC, while Kariobangi Sharks overcame a resilient Nyamira Super Eagles by a 1-0 scoreline.
