Defending champions Kabras Sugar and KCB Rugby secured impressive victories, booking semi-final slots with two matches to spare.

At the Kakamega Showground, Kabras Sugar demonstrated their dominance with a commanding 47-3 win over Menengai Oilers.

This victory not only solidified Kabras’ position at the top of the table but also guaranteed them a spot in the top two and a home semifinal berth.

Ntabeni Dukisa’s early try set the tone for Kabras, followed by additional scores from Alfred Orege, Patrick Lumumba, and Teddy Akala, with Dukisa’s accurate conversions extending their lead.

Barry Robinson’s brace, also converted by Dukisa, sealed the comprehensive victory for Kabras.

Meanwhile, at the KCB Sports Club, KCB continued their unbeaten streak with a dominant 45-15 win over Kenya Harlequin.

Leading 33-3 at halftime, KCB asserted their dominance with tries from Davis Chenge, Austin Sikutwa (scoring twice), Bob Muhati, and Brian Wahinya, complemented by Lionel Ajeliti’s conversions. Although Quins managed to score through Cornelius Mokoro and Jan Remke, KCB maintained their stronghold to secure another home semifinal spot.

In other matches, Strathmore Leos ended their six-match losing streak by defeating Homeboyz 34-14, moving closer to safety while leaving Homeboyz facing relegation.

Mwamba continued their winning streak with a hard-fought 32-27 victory over Kisumu, staying in contention for the playoffs.

Nondescripts secured a hard-fought 22-10 win over Kenyatta University Blak Blad, consolidating their fifth place, and Nakuru emerged as 31-10 winners over Catholic Monks.
