MP Otiende Amollo celebrates impressive KCSE results of 4 students he sponsored through school

Rarieda Member of Parliament (MP) Otiende Omollo is a happy man after 4 students he sponsored through school posted impressive results in the recently released Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examinations (KCSE).

In a post shared via his official X account, formerly Twitter, the lawmaker hailed the four students as he congratulated them for the impressive results.

The four included; Maria Clara, Kenya High (A-), Remmy Silver, St Mary’s School, Yala (A-), Precious Amondi, Rang’ala Girls, (B+), and Joseph Oloo, St Mary’s Yala, (C).

The lawmaker adds to the list of guardians who celebrated impressive results from their students after Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale proudly showcased his daughter’s impressive performance.

In his congratulatory message to his daughter, the senator acknowledged that his daughter, Gift Atubukha Khalwale, who was a student at St Brigids Kiminini Girls’ High School had scored a mean grade of B+.

“Congratulations, Gift Atubukha Khalwale! I want to thank my family, the entire St Brigids High School-Kiminini fraternity, and above all, God for supporting my little Tubu to this milestone,” he wrote.

The latest came shortly after Education Cabinet Secretary (CS) Ezekiel Machogu released the much-anticipated results at the Moi Girls’ High School in Eldoret.

Speaking during the release of the results, CS Machogu stated that 899,453 candidates sat for the 2023 KCSE exams and out of these, 50.09% were male whereas 49.91% were female.

The CS additionally stated that 201,133 candidates who sat the national exams attained the minimum university entry grade of C+. He also said that 526,222 candidates scored a mean grade if D+ and above whereas 48,174 candidates scored a mean grade of E.
