The Impala Floodlit finalists have been confirmed after the semi-final matches played at Impala Club on Saturday night.

Reigning champions KCB secured their spot in the Impala Floodlit final with a convincing 41-21 victory over Menengai Oilers in the first semi-final.

KCB dominated from the start, with key moments including Samuel Asati’s try, converted by Darwin Mukidza, giving KCB an early 7-0 lead.

Darwin Mukidza extended their lead with a drop goal (10-0), and two more tries from Felix Ojoo and Festus Shiasi, both converted by Mukidza, took the halftime score to 24-0 in favor of KCB.

In the second half, KCB continued their dominance, with Mike Wamalwa scoring a try, making it 31-0. Menengai Oilers received a penalty try, making the score 31-7.

Wamalwa scored his second try, with Mukidza adding the conversion and a penalty, bringing the final score to 41-7.

Menengai Oilers managed two consolation tries from Alvin Khavoli and Jardon Abadon, with Tony Oketch converting both, ending the match with a score of 41-21.

Impala Floodlit second semi

Nondescripts secured their place in the final by rallying from a 0-7 halftime deficit to defeat Kenyatta University’s Blak Blad with a score of 20-14 in a closely contested semi-final.

In the first half, Kenyatta University’s Blak Blad took an early lead with David Njiraini’s try, converted by Kevin Karue (7-0).

However, Nondies fought back in the second half, with Nyaenya Moseti scoring two tries, reducing the score to 7-5 and then taking the lead at 10-7.

Moseti added a third try, with a successful conversion, extending Nondies’ lead to 17-7. Calvin Sheunda added a penalty, making it 20-7 for Nondies.

Blak Blad continued to push, with Steve Odhiambo’s try, converted by Karue, closing the gap to 20-14, but they ultimately fell short.

As a result, Nondescripts will face defending champions KCB in the Impala Floodlit final, while Menengai Oilers and Blak Blad are set to compete in the third-place playoff match.
