FKF Cup Champions Kakamega Homeboyz have been drawn against Libya’s Al Hilal SC Benghazi in the first round of CAF Confederation Cup.

Should they progress beyond the first round, Kakamega Homeboyz will encounter another challenge against Rayon Sports from Rwanda.

Kakamega Homeboyz history

The club earned their spot in the prestigious tournament after securing a historic victory in the 2023 Football Kenya Federation Cup.

They defeated heavyweights Tusker 1-0 in a thrilling showdown at the Moi International Sports Complex, Kasarani Stadium, on Saturday, July 1, 2023.

Kevin Amwayi’s crucial goal in the second half sealed the triumph for Homeboyz, making it their first-ever major title win.

The CAF Confederation Cup draw has produced intriguing matchups for other teams as well.
