Controversial Kenyan singer Akothee has made headlines this week, after collapsing while on stage last weekend during the Luo Festival in Kisumu.

The Give It To Me singer was in the middle of an electrifying performance when she lost consciousness. Her dancers and the security crew took her off the stage for first aid.

The unfortunate incident happened just two days after Akothee was discharged from Karen Hospital in Nairobi after a bout of flu and fatigue.

Grapevine was rife with rumours that the collapsing could have been as a result of a pregnancy, a thing his manager Nelly Oaks vehemently denied.

“No, no, no, she is not pregnant, it is purely fatigue. She is resting and soon she will be back in action,” Oaks said in a radio interview with Willy Tuva.

Following the scary incident, Akothee has again tossed herself right in the middle of controversy, when she took to her social media pages to show the world where she would be buried after dying.

On Wednesday evening, the singer posted a photo of herself at her palatial home and told her millions of online followers it was the place she would be buried at.

“See Where I will be buried when that time comes. I have lived this life for real. Mwanamke singol ni kujipanga! Ujipange ama maisha ikupange, ama upangiwe chaguo ni lako (sic),” she wrote.
