Former Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi has revealed that he is worth approximately Ksh700 million.

He disclosed this, on Monday, October 17, 2022, during his vetting for the Attorney General position by the National Assembly’s Appointments Committee in parliament.

“Mr chairman, I’ve been a very modest civil servant and my net worth is currently estimated as just about Ksh700 million,” he said.

When asked about his current source of income, he stated;

“Currently from my activities as a farmer and consultancy, I get occasional rewards but I am now a pensioner, a retired speaker depending on public coffers.”

Muturi is the second Cabinet nominee to face the panel after Prime Cabinet secretary nominee Musalia Mudavadi.
